Welcome to Marivorexa. This document outlines the rules and guidelines for using our website and booking our maritime voyages. By browsing our website or initiating a reservation, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read these sections thoroughly before proceeding with your booking.
In this document, the terms "we," "us," "our," and "Marivorexa" refer to the company. The terms "passenger," "passengers," "you," and "your" refer to the customer who accesses our website and reserves a voyage. By using our website, you confirm that you possess the legal authority to enter into this agreement and to use our services in accordance with all conditions stated here.
Our website allows passengers to select a voyage and reserve a spot. Once you submit a reservation request through our platform, your seat is temporarily held by us. This hold remains active for exactly 48 hours from the time and date of your initial reservation.
To finalize and secure your booking, you must visit our physical corporate office in person. Our office is located at Progress Commercial Building, 9 Irving St, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong . During this visit, you must pay the full amount due for your booking. If a passenger does not complete the full payment at our office within the 48-hour hold period, the temporary reservation will expire automatically, and the seat will be released back to our inventory for other passengers to reserve.
The exact boarding location and terminal details will be formally communicated to passengers during the full payment process at our registered office in Causeway Bay. We provide these details in writing alongside your final booking confirmation.
It is the sole obligation of each passenger to arrive at the designated port at least 1 hour before the scheduled departure time. Arriving early ensures smooth processing of the boarding procedure, document accreditation, and safety briefings.
All passengers must carry an official, valid government-issued identification document with them on the day of the journey. This identification must match the name registered during the payment process at our office.
Security personnel will check these documents prior to boarding. If a passenger fails to present a valid government identity document at the port, they will not be allowed to board. This situation will be classified as a cancelled voyage, and the refund policies for late cancellations will apply.
If a passenger fails to appear at the designated port at least 1 hour prior to departure, or fails to arrive before the vessel departs, the reservation will be classified as a no-show. A no-show is seen exactly as a journey cancelled on the day of departure. Under these specific circumstances, the reservation is forfeited, and no refunds will be issued or entertained under any condition.
We understand that travel plans can change unexpectedly. Therefore, we permit passengers to cancel their reservations up until the day of the scheduled journey. The refund amount depends entirely on the timing of your cancellation notice:
To initiate a refund after a valid cancellation request is received, we will request your necessary bank account details. We do not store sensitive billing data, and this information is used solely for the electronic transfer of your funds.
We will process the return of funds from our system within 24 hours of receiving your cancellation request and account details. However, the time it takes for the funds to reflect in your personal bank account depends on your banking institution. It can take up to 7 business days for the transaction to show on your balance, depending on your bank provider's local operating policies.
